About Us

Cutr is the platform for designers to get things made. We are a team of engineers, woodworkers and designers with the shared objective of making wood manufacturing easier, faster and cheaper for everyone involved. We care about moving the world to a zero-carbon future, and believe a 10x better wood manufacturing industry is the key to achieving it. We're backed by the best and we'd LOVE to meet you.

Our Process

  1. Initial chat with hiring manager - We'll chat about the role and goals (yours and ours).

  2. Code exercise - You'll work through a coding exercise with a couple members of the engineering team

  3. "On-site" (often remote) - You will meet more members of the team, with rounds including product/design, operations, and engineering.

  4. Offer! 🎉

We Care About

Customer Obsession - Everything we do should revolve around our customers. We can have great ideas as experienced product builders, but those ideas should come from a high degree of understanding of the problems our customers are experiencing.

Diversity - We believe that as a team our ability to solve problems is greater when we’re looking at the problems from different perspectives. This means we’re actively working to build a team of diverse backgrounds and experiences and building an inclusive environment that empowers individuality, empathy, and innovation.

Maturity - We want to work with people who can approach teamwork with empathy and humility. We’re all working hard to solve difficult problems, and along the way we might disagree about how to do that. How we positively resolve these conflicts matters and makes us a better team.
